Dr. McManus’s expertise includes the application of financial and economic models to understand environmental and regulatory issues, competitive dynamics, and valuations.
Dr. McManus has extensive experience in business economics, consulting, and research. His studies include industry and technology dynamics, forecasting, new product development, and econometrics. As an expert economist he estimates relevant empirical relationships in employment law, environmental law, intellectual property, and business and personal damages. His research has been at the center of important public policy debates in environmental economics, labor economics, and decision sciences.
Dr. McManus holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University and earned his doctorate in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. McManus is the founder of McManus Analytics, and has held faculty appointments at the University of Florida, Baruch College of the City University of New York, University of Michigan, Oakland University, and the University of California at Berkeley. He has also held leadership positions in economics at General Motors, J.D. Power and Associates, and Textron Automotive Company.
